About us

The Department of Organisational Behaviour is a team of professionals who share a passion for studying human attitudes and behaviour in the workplace.

Our expertise spans a broad range of areas within human capital management, including inclusive organisations, employee development, organisational culture, negotiation, interpersonal communication, and team building. We also address topics such as management psychology, organisational sociology, and employee wellbeing, including job satisfaction, work-life balance, mental resilience, and employment law.

The Department consists of 13 academic and research staff and is headed by Professor Piotr Wróbel. Our researchers publish in prestigious national and international journals and collaborate on research and teaching with foreign universities, especially within the SEA-EU alliance.

We combine academic knowledge with practical application in business and public institutions. Our team includes experienced consultants and trainers in human resources, strategic management, and development of managerial competences.

In response to the changing needs of the labour market and the younger generations, we have created modern educational programmes such as Human Capital Management, Management in Sport - Managerial Studies, and Management and Communication in Performing Arts (in cooperation with the Faculty of Philology). We also offer postgraduate programmes: Human Capital Management and Management Studies.
